Only Murders: who the cast wants to see in season 3
Only Murders in the Building Renewed for Season 4!

The Season 3 premiere of Murders had the most viewers of any scripted Hulu Original in 2023. Meryl Streep and Paul Rudd guest-starred in the season that followed Charles, Oliver and Mabel (Steve Martin, Martin Short and Selena Gomez) investigating a murder behind the scenes of a Broadway show. Rudd will play Ben Glenroy, a Hollywood action star whose Broadway debut is cut short by his death.

Additionally, Meryl Streep will reprise her Season 3 role as Oliver’s girlfriend, Loretta Durkin.

Eva Longoria will join the show

Longoria’s character becomes integral to the twists and turns of this season’s investigation, sources close to production reveal.

Kumail Nanjiani (Welcome to Chippendales) has joined the cast

Zach Galifianakis has been cast in Season 4. His character is “integral to the twist and turns of this season’s investigation.”

ABC, Freeform and Hulu, confirmed that the New York City-based comedy will relocate to California for at least part of Season 4.

And now, TVLine can confirm that Molly Shannon will appear as part of a season-long arc as a “high-powered Los Angeles business woman who finds herself drawn into the world of the investigation in New York.”

“I’m very excited to see Steve [Martin], Martin [Short] and Selena [Gomez] take a little break from the apartment building and come to Los Angeles,” Erwich recently told Deadline. “So in the same way that [series co-creator] John Hoffman used the canvas of Broadway to tell what I think was one of the most unique seasons you’ve ever seen. The same unique Only Murders take will be applied to Los Angeles.”
