Skye Coyne, Ryan Carnes, Matthew Pohlkamp and Natalie Daniels star in the movie Cruise Ship Murder premiering on Lifetime Channel on Saturday May 25th, 2024 at 8/7c. We at Survived The Shows had the incredible chance to talk with star Natalie Daniels, who teased the movie and her experience in Cruise Ship Murder. Check out the full interview below!

Can you tell us a bit about your character in Cruise Ship Murder?

My character, Sherri, is an investigative reporter who is very keen on finding out what happened to Olivia’s Aunt. She isn’t just out for the story, she genuinely cares about what happened to her.

What initially attracted you to your role in Cruise Ship Murder?

My initial attraction to the role was the fact that it was an investigative reporter. I have always wanted to play a reporter out for a story.

What do you think makes this movie so special and captivating?

I believe this movie is special due to the nature of the whole movie being shot on the Queen Mary cruise ship in Long Beach, California. It’s not every day that you get to shoot a movie on a historic ship. The movie draws you in with the numerous disappearances of people upon the ship.

What do you hope audiences take away from watching  Cruise Ship Murder?

I hope the audiences will be on the edge of their seat waiting to see what happens next and who the killer might be.

What was it like working with the rest of the cast on set?

Well, I wasn’t able to work with the whole cast, but I was working hand-in-hand with Skye Coyne, Olivia, and she is the best! We are both Equestrians and had so much common. She is a phenomenal actress who I learned a lot from.

What was your favorite scene or moment while filming Cruise Ship Murder?

Without giving too much away I really loved filming the bathroom scene. You will have to watch to find out. It was hard for me not to anticipate the actions that were taking place.

At Survived the Shows, we are big fans of Christmas comedies. What is your all-time favorite?

Of course National Lampoons, Christmas Vacation, there is no comparison

Change of subject, What have been some of the most memorable projects you have worked on throughout your career, and why?

My most memorable project was when I had a guest star on Hawaii Five-0, I was able to go to Hawaii for a week and film the role of a con artist, a very Sexy Con Artist. They hired someone to show me “sleight of hand”. It was such an amazing experience.

Can you tease something about your next projects?

My next TV moving will be airing mid to late summer, the tentative title is Couples Retreat Murder. I play the lead role of Paulina. The whole movie was filmed out in the desert. The story follows two couples that go to a wellness retreat out in the desert to reconnect with each other and their spouses. Things take a turn for the worst when Paulina’s husband goes missing.

Cruise Ship Murder” starring Natalie Daniels will premiere on Saturday, May 25th on Lifetime Channel.
