EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW: Crystal Allen Previews her new Lifetime movie “Nightmare School Moms” – WATCH

The new Lifetime thriller movie, Nightmare School Moms, is expected to air on the channel on Sunday, July 16, 2023. We at Survived The Shows had the pleasure of chatting with star Crystal Allen about her experience in the making of Nightmare School Moms and what fans can expect from the movie.

Can you tell us a bit about your character Lacy?

Crystal Allen: Lacey is from a very troubled childhood. She was never good enough for her dad and she never got into to do the things that this rivalry woman did. For example, she got into the college, she went to the place where she got married and she had a beautiful life. Whereas I was robbed all of that and I have this anger and resentment towards her.

So you can just see you’ll see the way you’ll see a little bit of my past life and then what’s presently going on in the movie. I get I lose my marbles if you want I lose my Everything. And I just explode, really. It’s a fun role. It’s a lot of fun to play the villain. I usually play the villain on the Lifetime movies. They’re fun. They’re good. You can play, you can do whatever you want, you know? It’s fun being the bad girl. It’s so fun.

What initially attracted you to the role of Lacy in “Nightmare School Moms”?

Crystal Allen: I saw it and I went I like the idea that it’s based on getting in the right school, the kids getting in the right school because of that scandal that happened in Hollywood, the scandal where the moms, the celebrity moms were caught, you know, it reminded me of that. So I was like, I want to play that role, you know? It sounded juicy.

What can you tease about your character Journey?

Crystal Allen: She starts off this eager, excited mother that wants to. I don’t want to spoil it but you will see little by little. She wants this so bad, she wants this scholarship for her daughter and she wants her to get into this university so bad that she’ll stop at nothing to do it. And it’s just really interesting to watch. Hopefully I haven’t seen it, but I’m excited to see how they’ve edited it and how it’s going to look on screen. I’m really interested to see that.
